ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrival to Guatemala City, we pick you up
at the airport and drive you to Posada Belen Hotel Museum, if you arrive
in the morning you can have a city tour
Day 2. Early departure to COPAN (Honduras) to
visit this beautiful Mayan site, in the afternoon drive back to
Guatemala and overnight in Rio Hondo where you have time to swim in the
pool of the Atlantico hotel or similar..
Day 3. Early departure to the Quirigua ruins,
after visiting and enjoying their fantastic art you will be take
to Rio Dulce where you again can enjoy the hotel installations and the
beautiful river.
Day 4. Rio Dulce, morning free to enjoy the area,
in the afternoon you take the bus to Flores where you spend the night at
the hotel Peten or similar
Day 5 Ceibal, Morning drive to Sayaxche fluvial
port where you board a boat to visit the ruins located in the
jungle, after 1 hour in the river you arrive to Ceibal, in the afternoon
you are take back to Flores where you have time to enjoy this ancient
and picturesque island town.
Day 6 Yaxha, Morning drive to Yaxha where you visit the Topoxte island
whit their intrigued miniature constructions built for midgets, the
island is located in the Yaxha lagoon which is populated by
caimans and crocodiles, after the island you
will visit the little restored Yaxha site, in the afternoon you will be take to Tikal
where you spend the night at the Tikal Inn hotel or similar where you
can enjoy the pool and have a night walk in the jungle.
Day 7 Tikal Guided tour in Tikal
Day 8 Tikal Free morning, in the afternoon you will be take to Flores
to take the plane back to Guatemala city or you can keep traveling to
Belize City or Mexico.(via Palenque by land or Cancun by plane)
Day 9. Departure, transfer to airport.
